Staff Accountant
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team! In this role, your primary responsibilities will center around financial reporting, with a particular focus on managing accounts receivable (AR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial reports; reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist in budget preparation and analyze financial data for trends and variances.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support month-end/year-end close processes.
- Process invoices and manage accounts receivable (AR); record product deliveries.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns; manage accounting email and inquiries.
- Collaborate with departments for accurate financial reporting and explore growth through additional accounting responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Effective communication both written and verbal. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, eager to learn and solve problems, with a strong sense of integrity.
- Ability to leverage technology (QuickBooks, expense management software, CRMs) and maintain confidentiality.
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience outside of formal education.
- Previous experience or knowledge in the healthcare sector is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Salary range starts at $60,000 annually depending on experience.
