We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team! In this role, your primary responsibilities will center around financial reporting, with a particular focus on managing accounts receivable (AR). 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial reports; reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in budget preparation and analyze financial data for trends and variances.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Process invoices and manage accounts receivable (AR); record product deliveries.
  • Prepare and file sales and use tax returns; manage accounting email and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with departments for accurate financial reporting and explore growth through additional accounting responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Effective communication both written and verbal. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, eager to learn and solve problems, with a strong sense of integrity.
  • Ability to leverage technology (QuickBooks, expense management software, CRMs) and maintain confidentiality.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience outside of formal education.
  • Previous experience or knowledge in the healthcare sector is a plus.
Education/Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Salary range starts at $60,000 annually depending on experience. This flexible approach provides team members with a balance between in-person collaboration and remote work autonomy. Hybrid work is defined as two full days expected in-office.
